1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using WatchTrackr ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and subscribers.
2. Description of Service
WatchTrackr is a platform that allows users to track, organize, and discover movies, TV shows, and anime. Our service includes features such as watchlist management, progress tracking, playlist creation, social discovery, and AI-powered search capabilities.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
3.3 Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason we deem necessary to protect the Service and its users.
4. Acceptable Use

5. User Content
5.1 Ownership
You retain ownership of any content you create, upload, or post on the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service.
5.2 Public Content
If you choose to make your playlists or watchlists public, other users may view, share, and interact with your content. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you make public.
5.3 Content Removal
We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we determine is harmful, offensive, or inappropriate, without prior notice.
6. Subscription and Payment
6.1 Subscription Plans
We offer a 7-day free trial for all new users. After the trial period, subscription plans are billed on a recurring basis (weekly, monthly, or annually) as selected during signup.
6.2 Payment Terms
By subscribing to a premium plan, you agree to pay all fees associated with your subscription. Payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy.
6.3 Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
6.4 Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify subscription prices. We will provide notice of any price changes, and such changes will apply to subsequent billing periods.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by WatchTrackr and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. Movie, TV show, and anime information, including posters and metadata, are provided by third-party APIs and are subject to their respective copyrights.
8. Third-Party Services
Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by WatchTrackr. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services. You acknowledge and agree that WatchTrackr shall not be responsible or liable for any damage or loss caused by your use of any third-party service.
8.1 Data Sources and Attribution
WatchTrackr uses third-party APIs to provide content information:
- The Movie Database (TMDb): Movie and TV show data, posters, and metadata are provided by TMDb. This product uses the TMDb API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDb.
- AniList: Anime data and information are provided by the AniList API.
- Jikan: Episode labeling information (filler, recap, canon) is provided by the Jikan API, an unofficial MyAnimeList API.
All content, images, and metadata from these services are subject to their respective terms of service and copyrights.
9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
9.1 Service Availability
We strive to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
9.2 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WatchTrackr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WatchTrackr, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which WatchTrackr operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
